New Zealand Working Holiday Visa (1 & 2 Year)
The New Zealand Working Holiday Visa permits 18 to 30 year olds to travel and work casually in New Zealand for up to 12 months*.
Under the scheme, the main purpose of your visit to New Zealand must be to holiday, but you are
entitled to take up temporary employment during your stay to help fund your travels. Working holidaymakers able to prove they worked at least 3 months in he horticulture or viticulture industries could get a visa extension and stay in New Zealand for another 3 months.
You are eligible for a NZ Working Holiday Visa if:
- You are aged between 18 and 30 years old (inclusive)
- You are not bringing children to New Zealand
- You have not been granted a Working Holiday Visa to New Zealand before
- You have sufficient funds to support yourself on arrival in New Zealand
- You hold a passport from an eligible country
